TERMS OF SERVICE

[DIRECTIVE] DISCLOSING STANDARD SAAS USE TERMS, SUBSCRIPTION OVERAGE RULES, REFUND PROCESSES, AND LEGAL GERMAN JURISDICTIONS INSTANTLY.

LEGAL TERMS OF CONTRACTUAL USE

1. CONTRACTUAL RELATIONSHIP

By creating an account and using ParseHook, you enter into a binding legal agreement with David Krippl, c/o flexdienst – #20185, Kurt-Schumacher-Straße 76, 67663 Kaiserslautern, Germany. If you do not agree to these terms, you are prohibited from utilizing our service.

2. SCOPE OF SERVICE

ParseHook operates as a cloud-based technical utility. The service receives incoming emails routed to your unique inbox addresses, parses their unstructured semantic contents using our multi-model AI orchestration, and delivers the resulting structured JSON payloads to your configured HTTP webhook endpoints. We provide a real-time dashboard to monitor, troubleshoot, and export these transactions.

3. ACCEPTABLE USE & RATE LIMITS

You agree to use ParseHook in accordance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. You are strictly prohibited from: (a) forwarding emails containing illegal, harmful, or malicious content, (b) utilizing the service to transmit spam or unsolicited communications, (c) attempting to bypass system rate-limits or subscription limits through technical exploits, or (d) attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying AI routing logic or proprietary parsing architecture. You agree to respect the API rate limits applicable to your subscription tier, as specified in the Feature Comparison and API documentation. Attempts to bypass these limits may result in suspension or termination. Violations will result in immediate account suspension or termination.

4. PLAN LIMITS, FEES & OVERAGES

ParseHook offers subscription tiers based on email volume: (a) Free Plan: limited to twenty-five emails/month; (b) Pro Plan: includes one thousand emails/month, with subsequent overages billed at $0.03 per email; (c) Business Plan: includes ten thousand emails/month, with subsequent overages billed at $0.03 per email; (d) Enterprise Plan: custom limits and pricing as negotiated. We send usage warning notifications when you reach eighty percent and ninety percent of your current monthly allotment. Overage fees are calculated and charged at your monthly billing cycle.

5. PAYMENTS, RENEWALS & REFUNDS

Paid subscriptions are securely billed in advance on a recurring monthly or annual basis via Stripe. Your subscription will renew automatically unless canceled. You may cancel your subscription at any time within your billing dashboard; cancellations take effect at the end of your current active billing period. Cancellation is possible in one click from the dashboard, with no additional steps required. For EU consumers: you have a legal right to withdraw from this contract and request a full refund within fourteen days of your initial purchase. However, before checkout, you will be asked to explicitly acknowledge and consent that ParseHook begins providing the digital service immediately, thereby losing your statutory right of withdrawal once performance has begun.

6. DATA OWNERSHIP & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

You retain full ownership and intellectual property rights over all email content forwarded to ParseHook and the generated parsed JSON payloads. ParseHook claims no ownership over your data. You grant us a temporary, non-exclusive license to process your data solely for the purpose of executing the parsing and webhook delivery services, in strict compliance with our Privacy Policy.

7. SERVICE AVAILABILITY & SLA COMMITMENTS

ParseHook aims for high system availability, but no specific uptime percentage is guaranteed on Free or Pro plans. Business and Enterprise plans may include availability commitments in a separate agreement.

8. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY (EU SPECIFIC)

ParseHook is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or business interruptions, except where such damages result from willful misconduct or gross negligence, or from injury to life, body, or health. For light negligence, liability is limited to typical, foreseeable damages and capped at the amount paid in the 30 days preceding the incident.

9. ACCOUNT TERMINATION

You are free to permanently terminate your account and wipe all database records at any time through your Profile Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or delete accounts that are abandoned (inactive on the Free plan for more than one hundred and eighty consecutive days) or in material breach of these terms.

10. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

These terms and all contractual disputes arising from your use of ParseHook shall be governed exclusively by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG). If you are a business, merchant, or legal entity, the exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes is Kaiserslautern, Germany. If you are a consumer, you may also rely on the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you reside. The exclusive place of jurisdiction does not apply to consumers.

11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time, for example to reflect changes in our service, legal requirements, or business needs. If we make material changes, we will notify you at least thirty days in advance via the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of ParseHook after the effective date of the revised terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.

12. SEVERABILITY

Should any provision of these Terms be or become invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. The invalid provision shall be deemed replaced by a valid provision that comes closest to the economic purpose of the invalid provision. The same applies in the event of any contractual gaps.
