CORE CONCEPT & AI
What is AI email parsing?
AI email parsing is the automated extraction of structured data from unstructured email content. Instead of manually defining rules or templates, AI understands the semantic meaning of an email and extracts fields like invoice numbers, lead details, or payment amounts directly into JSON format.
How does ParseHook extract data without templates or regex?
ParseHook uses a proprietary Multi-Model AI Engine. When an email arrives, our system analyzes the layout, context, and entities within the text. It understands what a 'total' or 'due date' looks like, regardless of the sender's format. This eliminates the need for rigid regex rules or manual template mapping.
Which AI models do you use?
We operate a Multi-Model approach, meaning we are not restricted to a single AI provider. We route your emails through a curated selection of high-performance enterprise models to find the perfect balance of speed, cost, and accuracy for your specific email layout. We don't rely on just one model because no single model is perfect for every format. Your emails never train our AI. All models we use are enterprise-tier and contractually prohibited from training on your data.
Do you use our data to train AIs?
No. We never sell your data, and we never use your emails or parsed data to train AI models. All AI models we use are enterprise-tier and contractually prohibited from training on your data.
What is the parsing accuracy of ParseHook?
ParseHook achieves a minimum of 99% accuracy on standard email formats like invoices, receipts, and leads. Our internal benchmarks continuously test multiple models against complex datasets to ensure maximum field accuracy and valid JSON output. You can review our detailed performance data on our Benchmark Report.
View Benchmark Report →Can ParseHook handle unusual or changing email layouts?
Yes. Because our engine relies on semantic understanding rather than fixed templates, it adapts automatically to layout shifts. If a vendor changes their invoice design, ParseHook still recognizes the data. Additionally, our pattern matching system learns from each email to improve accuracy over time.
TECHNICAL & INTEGRATION
How fast is the webhook delivery?
Parsed JSON is typically delivered to your webhook endpoint within 5 seconds of ParseHook receiving the email. Processing speed depends on the complexity of the email and the AI route chosen, but our infrastructure is optimized for real-time developer workflows.
How do I verify the authenticity of a ParseHook webhook?
Every webhook payload is signed with HMAC-SHA256. The signature is sent in the X-ParseHook-Signature header. You verify this signature on your server using your unique signing secret to ensure the payload was genuinely sent by ParseHook and not tampered with.
What happens if my webhook endpoint is down?
ParseHook retries failed webhook deliveries automatically using an exponential backoff strategy (1 minute, 5 minutes, 30 minutes, 2 hours, 12 hours). During this retry window, the raw email is encrypted and buffered for a maximum of 24 hours. After 6 failed attempts, the raw email is irreversibly deleted. Only the parsed JSON and metadata enter the Dead Letter Queue for manual retry from your dashboard.
Can ParseHook parse PDF attachments?
Yes. PDF attachment parsing is available starting from the Pro plan. There are no extra costs or hidden fees for attachments on paid plans. The AI extracts text from digital-born PDFs and parses the data just like an email body.
Which tools integrate with ParseHook?
ParseHook delivers data via standard HTTP POST webhooks, meaning it integrates with every tool, CRM, or database you can imagine. We have pre-built guides for platforms like Zapier, Make.com, n8n, Airtable, and Slack. Check our Compatibility Page for the full list of tested integrations.

How much does ParseHook cost?
We offer a Free tier (25 emails/mo), Pro ($19/mo or $13/mo annually), Business ($99/mo or $67/mo annually), and Enterprise (Custom pricing). All prices are net (excl. VAT). See our Pricing Page for details.
View Pricing →Why is the gap between Pro and Business so large?
The difference lies in volume and included features. Pro is designed for 1,000 emails per month, while Business handles 10,000 and includes additional features like Custom Domain and Team Accounts. Both plans use the same overage pricing of $0.03 per additional email. On our Pricing page, you'll find an interactive tool that calculates exactly which plan is cheapest for your volume — including overage costs.
Use Pricing Calculator →What happens when I hit my monthly email limit?
You have full control. You can choose a 'Hard Cap' to automatically stop processing once you hit your limit, ensuring zero extra costs. Alternatively, you can allow overage billing. Additional emails are charged at $0.03 each for both Pro and Business plans and billed automatically at the end of your billing cycle. You will receive a notification at 80% usage, and you can set a hard cap at any time to prevent further overage charges. Enterprise overage is handled via custom agreement.
Are prices net or gross?
All listed pricing is net and excludes VAT. VAT is waived for non-EU customers or EU businesses with a valid VAT ID.
Do unused emails roll over to the next month?
No. Your email limit resets on the first day of each billing cycle.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. You can cancel from your billing dashboard in one click. You keep access to your current plan until the end of your billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
Yes. If ParseHook doesn't work for your technical setup, contact us within 14 days of your first paid plan start for a full refund. We also offer a Pro plan money-back guarantee if we fail to hit 99% accuracy on standard formats.
View Refund Policy →Is ParseHook really the most affordable AI email parser?
ParseHook is the most affordable AI email parser that includes all AI costs — no separate API key, no unpredictable usage fees, no hidden extras. We compared all major cloud email parsers that bundle artificial intelligence in their plan. ParseHook is the only one offering unlimited AI parsing without requiring a separate OpenAI key or per-email AI fees. Starting at $0.013 per email (Pro plan, annual billing). Price comparison based on publicly available information as of July 2026. Competitors may offer lower base prices but charge extra for AI extraction or require customers to provide their own AI API keys, resulting in unpredictable additional costs. ParseHook includes all AI processing in the plan price.
SECURITY & COMPLIANCE
Is ParseHook GDPR-compliant?
Yes. ParseHook is strictly GDPR-compliant. Our entire backend infrastructure is hosted in Germany (EU). We process emails in volatile memory and do not store raw email bodies permanently. In case of webhook delivery failures, raw emails are encrypted and buffered for a maximum of 24 hours for retry purposes, then automatically and irreversibly deleted. You can delete all parsed data from your dashboard at any time.
Where is my data stored?
All data is processed and stored on secure servers in Germany. Our entire backend lies exclusively on this infrastructure. We never use your data to train AI models.
Do you store the raw email bodies permanently?
No. ParseHook stores raw emails exclusively in volatile memory during processing. Only if a webhook delivery fails, the original email is encrypted and buffered solely for the duration of the retry attempts (maximum 24 hours). Once delivery succeeds or the retry chain definitively fails, the raw data copy is automatically and irreversibly deleted. In every other case, no copy exists — neither on disk, in logs, or in backups. Only metadata (sender, subject, timestamp, error message) is retained in your dashboard for your information.
COMPARISONS
Why should I choose ParseHook over Zapier Email Parser?
Zapier requires manual template setup and breaks when email layouts change. Zapier also requires a broader Zapier subscription to function. ParseHook uses AI (no templates), handles layout shifts dynamically, and includes setup times of roughly 2 minutes.
How does ParseHook compare to Mailparser or Parseur?
Mailparser and Parseur rely heavily on rule-based templates and OCR. ParseHook is AI-first, requiring zero configuration. Setup is drastically simpler, and because we bundle AI costs, we are highly competitive on pricing for users who need true AI extraction at scale without hidden API fees.
GUARANTEED MIN 99% ACCURACY
