ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

[DIRECTIVE] DISCLOSING CONFORMANCE WITH WCAG 2.1 AA STANDARDS, KNOWN UI BARRIERS, AND FEEDBACK PIPELINES UNDER BFSG REGULATIONS.

BFSG & WCAG 2.1 (LEVEL AA) COMPLIANCE DISCLOSURE

🇩🇪 Deutsche Version anzeigen

1. SCOPE

This accessibility statement applies to the ParseHook marketing website at https://parsehook.com and the authenticated user dashboard located at https://parsehook.com/dashboard. It does not apply to third-party content embedded on our pages, such as YouTube videos or external documentation links.

2. LEGAL BASIS & STANDARDS

As a provider of services to consumers and businesses in the Federal Republic of Germany, we are subject to the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (BFSG). Our accessibility efforts are aligned with the internationally recognized Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, specifically targeting conformance level AA.

3. CONFORMANCE STATUS

Partially compliant. The majority of the ParseHook website and dashboard interfaces are designed to be accessible. However, some specific interactive components and visual elements are currently only partially compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA due to the design complexity of our custom 'Dark Neobrutalism' visual theme.

4. KNOWN BARRIERS & NON-CONFORMITIES

We continuously audit our interfaces. The following known limitations currently exist: 1) The high-contrast brutalist design relies on heavy borders and box-shadows which may cause visual overwhelm or reduced readability for users with specific photosensitive sensitivities. 2) Certain data visualization components within the webhook analytics dashboard lack full ARIA live region support for screen readers when updating in real-time. 3) Embedded third-party video tutorials (e.g., YouTube) may not offer complete closed captions for all technical terms. We are actively working on providing accessible alternatives and fixing these issues.

5. METHODOLOGY

The current conformance status is based on a self-assessment conducted by our development team. We reviewed our components against the WCAG 2.1 success criteria using automated testing tools (such as Lighthouse and Axe) and manual keyboard navigation testing. We plan to conduct an independent external accessibility audit within the next 12 months.

6. FEEDBACK & CONTACT

We are committed to ensuring accessibility for everyone. If you experience any barriers, need information in an accessible format, or wish to report an issue not listed here, please reach out to us. You can submit structured feedback directly through our platform at our Feedback Page, or contact us directly at privacy@parsehook.com. We will respond to your request within 14 days.
